A 64-year-old woman on Tuesday pleaded guilty to defiling her 12-year-old grandson in Nyagancha village, Kisii County.
The woman, Elizabeth Barongo Nyaanga, is said to have committed the heinous act on March 5, 2022 before being apprehended by police on Monday.
She was thereafter arraigned at Keroka Law Courts before principal magistrate C.Ombija where 3 witnesses took the stand and testified against her.
The case will be mentioned on March 23, 2022.
