ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi has denied allegations; stormed out of a church function in Western after being denied a chance to address the congregatio

Mudavadi stormed out of Butere Girls Secondary School grounds after ACK Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit announced politicians would not be allowed to give speeches. Reports indicates.

The event was attended by major politicians such as ODM leader Raila Odinga,  Water CS Eugene Wamalwa, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua and Cotu secretary General Francis Atwoli.

However Mudavadi narrated that he excused himself to attend another church function in Muran’ga county where he was the Chief guest.

The ANC party leader said he sent a message to the Archbishop informing him that he had to leave early since he needed to travel to Kinyona Catholic Church in Kigumo.

Archbishop Anthony Muheria made it clear that politicians are welcomed to pray in churches just like any other Christians but they should not expect to make addresses.

Muheria added that it is important that churches are respected as holy places and those who uses the pulpit to trade attract curses among themselves.

Mudavadi said he was surprised to see reports in some media sections that he had stormed out of the consecration ceremony, saying they were were not true.
