President William Ruto has arrived in Azerbaijan to attend the prestigious World Urban Forum, where global leaders, policymakers, and development partners are expected to discuss sustainable urban growth and future city planning.
Ruto was received by senior government officials upon arrival ahead of the international summit, which brings together heads of state, urban planners, investors, and development agencies from across the world.
The World Urban Forum focuses on key issues affecting cities and urban populations, including affordable housing, climate resilience, infrastructure development, transport systems, and smart city innovations.
Kenya is expected to use the forum to showcase its ongoing urban development projects and attract investment opportunities in housing, infrastructure, and green development initiatives.
During the visit, President Ruto is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders and international partners to strengthen diplomatic and economic cooperation.
