Beyoncé will perform during the NFL’s highly anticipated Christmas Day half-time show, as the Houston Texans face off against the Baltimore Ravens. This marks her first live performance of songs from her latest album Cowboy Carter, which she revealed earlier this year during February’s Super Bowl. The album, featuring collaborations with Miley Cyrus and Post Malone, has been nominated for multiple Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year.

In addition to the Texans-Ravens game, fans will also be treated to a second match between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Both games will be streamed live on Netflix, marking the streaming platform’s continued push into live sports.

Beyoncé’s announcement was made through social media, where she shared an image of herself catching a football while standing on a classic car, adorned with roses and sporting her signature cowboy hat. Netflix has teased that Beyoncé will be joined by special guests during her performance, further building excitement for the event.

This won’t be Beyoncé’s first time performing at an NFL half-time show—she headlined the Super Bowl in 2013 and appeared alongside Coldplay and Bruno Mars in 2016, which became the most-watched half-time show in history.

Netflix’s partnership with the NFL is part of the streaming service’s strategy to expand into live sports, with the NFL’s Christmas Day games becoming a holiday tradition. The games will also be available to watch on broadcast TV for viewers in the teams’ local cities and via the NFL+ app in the U.S.
