Diamond Platnumz Sets Billboard Record with ‘Komasava’ Remix Featuring Jason Derulo.

Tanzanian music sensation Diamond Platnumz has hit a major milestone with the release of his latest track, the “Komasava” remix. The song has made history as the first Tanzanian track to enter the prestigious Billboard charts in the U.S., debuting at number 39 on the Billboard U.S. Afrobeats Songs Top 50. This chart highlights the most popular Afrobeats tracks in the U.S., based on a mix of sales, downloads, video views, and streaming performance across various platforms.

The original “Komasava,” released three months ago, features South African artists Khalil Harisson and Chley. Its infectious rhythm and vibrant collaboration quickly captured the attention of listeners, bringing the song into the limelight. On July 26, Diamond Platnumz released a remix video featuring American pop star Jason Derulo, further boosting the track’s popularity and expanding its reach.

This achievement not only solidifies Diamond Platnumz’s status as a leading figure in African music but also marks a significant moment in his journey toward global recognition.
