According to Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna, the Azimio la Umoja movement is planning to revive its anti-government protests soon due to a perceived lack of commitment to bipartisan negotiations. Senator Sifuna alleges that the government has already shown signs of resistance prior to the commencement of the talks. During Thursday’s episode of Citizen TV’s Daybreak show, Senator Sifuna contended that the government has started to ignore some of the issues that Azimio aims to resolve, which makes the negotiations futile.
