TWO KILLED IN AN ACCIDENT ALONG KITALE- WEBUYE HIGH WAY

Two people have died in an accident along the Kitale-Webuye highway.

The incident happened after a matatu plunged into Kamukuywa bridge.

Robert Wanjala from Grassroot Community Health Centre said six people were rushed to Webuye County Referral Hospital for treatment.

“We received seven passengers from the matatu accident. One of the passengers died on the spot while the other succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment,” Wanjala said.

In a separate incident, three people sustained injuries in an accident involving a motorbike near Sosio bridge along the Kimilili-Kamukywa road.

The three are undergoing treatment at Kimilili Sub County Hospital.
