UHURU KENYATTA MEETS ETHIOPIAN PM AHEMED ABIY IN ADDIS ABABA AMID ARMED CONFLICT

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Sunday traveled to Ethiopia for a visit amid armed conflict raging in the country.

President Kenyatta’s arrival into the country was shared by a series of photos shared by Ethiopia Prime Minister Ahmed Abiy.

“I welcome my dear brother President Uhuru Kenyatta to his second home,” the Prime Minister Tweeted several photos.

President Uhuru also met Ehtiopian President Sahle-Work Zewde.

It is not clear what president Kenyatta’s mission to Addis Ababa is with State House decribing the visit as a private one.

President Kenyatta last week called on the Ethiopian government and the Tigray People’s Liberation Front – TPLF – to stop hostilities and instead engage in dialogue to resolve their differences.
