VERA SIDIKA ANNOUNCES BIRTH OF DAUGHTER ASIA BROWN: LUXERY SUITE, CS AND A FACE BEAT

Socialite Vera Sidika and husband Brown Mauzo welcomed their first baby together, a daughter, Asia Brown, she announced in a statement on her Instagram Stories early Wednesday.

“This is a public service announcement..today is the day, I will be going in, in a couple of minutes to the theatre,” the socialite captioned an Instagram story.

“So happy coz hubby, mum and my two brothers were there with me for my delivery,”

The socialite stated that she personally chose her due date to ensure that her daughter will always be able to celebrate her birthday because it falls on a Kenyan holiday.

“Since elective CS allows u to select a date within a particular timeframe: I personally chose the date 20th October, so she can be celebrating her birthdays at from home with Family since it’s a public holiday Mashujaa Day,”

“And phewx! Curfew got lifted few hours right after she was born such a blessing”

Princess Asia Brown, who is already on Instagram, has 24.3 followers just 13 hours after her birth.

By Thursday morning, her first photo in a cot, flanked by her famous parents, had received over 13,000 likes and 268 comments.

Sidika, who arrived at the Nairobi Hospital with her mother, husband, and two brothers, said she underwent an elective Caesarean section.

According to her, all the information she had received about the procedure prior to the delivery was horribly skewed.

“It’s been 21 hours after surgery. Still no pain at all, & I can get up, walk around on my own ,”

She explained that she remained awake during the surgery and, to her surprise, she felt good, ‘some kind of high,’ and was engaging in some sort of banter with her anesthetist.

“Saw, heard everything. Even told stories with my anaesthesian (sic) with some nice old school RNB music in the background,” she added.

The overjoyed new mother then took her fans on a tour of her luxurious room in the Hospital’s exclusive North Wing.

According to information on the hospital’s website, charges here range from Ksh. 45,000 to Ksh. 98,000 per day, per room, depending on the room of choice.

This is in addition to other charges such as the operation itself, which costs approximately Ksh.190,000.
