I Will Lead Kenya to final liberation that will create employments, reduce economic burden – Raila Odinga

ODM party leader Raila Amollo Odinga on Saturday September 25, 2021 promised to lead the nation to the third and final liberation, which he says will ensure Kenyans coexist peacefully.

Saturday September 25, 2021 promised to lead the nation to the third and final liberation, which he says will ensure Kenyans coexist peacefully.

Speaking at a meeting with church leaders in Nakuru county, the former premier claimed that his recently launched political journey seeks to create employment opportunities, reduce the country’s economic burden and address social ills that have bedeviled the country for years now.

“I ask all of you to walk with me in the journey to liberate Kenyans from the yoke of the economic burden and social ills bedeviling our country. I am ready to lead Kenyans to the third and final liberation, which will ensure Kenyans coexist peacefully, create employment opportunities and reduce the economic burden,” Odinga said.

Raila implored on religious leaders present at the function to back his 2022 bid, saying he is the best suited candidate to see the nation through economic recovery.

Led by Bishop Isaac Kariuki of the Akorino church, the clergy proclaimed blessings upon Raila and pledged to back his fifth stab at the presidency.

The bishop asked congregants to reminisce the sacrifices and vital role that the ODM leader played in the clarion call for the repeal of section 2A (1991) that birthed multi-party democracy.

“We as Akorino church members have seen what you have done for this country and will walk with you on this journey,” he said.

Raila has of late intensified his forays in Mt Kenya as he aims at bagging a significant share of votes in 2022 from the vote-rich region.
