On Monday, while attending the Forbes 30 Under 30 Africa Summit in Gaborone, Botswana, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and his wife Dorcas Rigathi welcomed the popular boy band Sauti Sol. The Deputy President engaged in discussions with the music stars regarding the empowerment of youth and the important role they can play in advocating for it.
Gachagua took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the enriching conversation they had. He expressed his belief that industry mentors like Sauti Sol can help vulnerable young people nurture and sharpen their talents to fruition, and discussed the possibility of working together to guide and rescue young people who may be struggling with substance abuse or illicit brews. The goal is to help these individuals lead meaningful lives.
