Opposition Announces Resumption of Nationwide Protests on May 2nd

In recent times, the political atmosphere in Kenya has been fraught with tension as the opposition and the government engage in a power struggle. President William Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza party has been accused by Raila Odinga’s Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition of failing to show dedication to the bipartisan talks aimed at settling the political unrest.

In light of this, the opposition has declared that it will recommence nationwide mass demonstrations on Tuesday, May 2.
