A Kenya Mpya bus was involved in an accident on Monday morning at Roysambu, along the Thika Superhighway, injuring several people.
According to reports, the bus was en route from Nairobi to Thika when it rammed into a lorry.
Rose Onyango, who is recovering from injuries to her arm and leg, claims the driver set off an alarm after shouting that the bus’s brakes had failed.
Due to the brewing panic in the bus, she said, some passengers jumped out the windows while the bus was in motion, in fear of what could be a grisly accident.
Police officers have arrived at the scene to establish full details on the accident.
